BALTIMORE COUNTY E.R.S.I serve as an Elected Active Employee Trustee to the Baltimore County Employees Retirement System. In this role, I serve as a watchdog for employees' rights as they pertain to our retirement which currently holds approximately $2 Billion in assets. As one of the three employee positions on the board, the fiduciary responsibility is given the highest priority. For your information, as of June 30, 2001, even with the downward financial climate, the pension is funded 108%. This will ensure the security of the pensions established for the 9,000+ Active employees and 5,500+ Retirees. Michael K. Day, Sr. |
